Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment
- Provision/bootstrap/maintain bare metal infrastructure, Kubernetes, applications and services
- Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
- Continuously improve DevOps practices and workflows
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes (vanilla or platforms like Tanzu/OpenShift)
- Good understanding of the Kubernetes architecture and ecosystem
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash or Python)
- Experience with Linux-based distributions, using the terminal should not be an issue
- Experience with containerization (Docker or similar technologies)
- Experience using Helm for Kubernetes deployments
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
Good to have:
- Experience with CI tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with CD tools (Argo CD)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki)
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL administration (users, roles, databases)
